Yay~ Finalised plans for my first week of holiday in December - going to Italy with Hsienhui from 2 Dec to 8 Dec. Spending 3 days in Rome, 2 in Florence and 2 in Venice. Pretty excited, 'cos it's the first time I'm travelling with Hsien, and always been wanting to go Italy, somemore it's winter, Italy would be a good place to get away from the cold dreary weather. =P
Didn't exactly have a great day today. Missed my econs summit meeting at 9am 'cos didn't read the email properly. Received the first ever rejection email from a job application (not that I've been very successful in previous attempts, it's probably the first reply I've ever gotten from a company in the first place) Though it may not mean I'm not good enough, probably they don't think I'm not suitable for the company; guess it's not so much the loss of chance, but the feeling of being rejected. Guess it just marks the beginning of the series of rejections; definitely a lot more to come. Well, Liu Hao was right, I can jolly well find a job after graduation (and continue sponging off my parents in the meantime *sigh*) but I can't re-do my exams after that. So should focus more on studies la. *self-consolation*
On top of that, felt cheated of my 2 buys from eBay. Went to the post room to collect them; the A4 River Island bag turned out to look more like an A5 sized one. Really been looking for an A4 sized shoulder bag for school, but haven't found any one that I like. Anyway, not that the buyer promised an A4 bag, but the dimensions given were more A4 than A5. Got a set of earphones too, 'cos my earphones are spoilt, but turned out to be Apple lookalike-but-obviously-not-Apple earphones. Poor Hsienhui, accompanied me and she really didn't know what to say. Haha~!
Aiyah, at least I've received the CD from YZ today, and there's many nice songs. Somemore he took off time amidst his busy schedule to burn it for me, renamed the songs and even had the track list of Koji Tamaki's album inside. And going to the Business Ball with Jyh Shyong on Week 9 Friday. 45 pounds, that white Belgian chocolate fountain they promised had better be good!
Well, going to Chester tomorrow to find my cousin Regina, my nephews James and Charles and niece Ashley. 2 hours train ride, with 2 transits on a very tight schedule. Hopefully it'll turn out to be a great trip!
Actually, even though I'm excited to go Italy, a part of me wish I could go home too. Unlikely la, heard Emirates are selling tickets from UK to Singapore at 900 pounds now. Bet SIA is worse.
