Heez, Cheryl the birthday girl and I with Audrey Hepburn at the background. Oh, have I mentioned Cheryl is the girl who stays right opposite my room in Heronbank? She's the master chef and I'm the assistant cutter, hahaha~!
Hsienhui, Cheryl and I - the trio who live in Heronbank Flat 129 with 5 other international students. Enjoying their company everyday. And no, not saying that because they might read this *winkz*
Went for Heat with them and Claire, Ana, Komal, Parker, Ama, her friend and Yan; but I promised I wouldn't put any pictures that I'm not inside for ethical reasons. It was Latin and Hindi Night, but we were late, the second half was Bangra music. Not that I have anything against it, but didn't really know how to dance to it la. (Don't really know how to dance anyway) And it was terribly cold, told myself I wouldn't go clubbing anymore until winter's over. It's a torture to walk to the union in the deep of the night just to club. *brrr*
Tea at Kenilworth - Even though I didn't have this curried tuna mayonnaise melt (sounds really decadent doesn't it?) but had it the previous time I went. VERY GOOD! *gushing*
Tai tais of the world unite" - (from left) Yan, Agnes, Samantha, Jireh, Ana, Cheryl, me and Claire. Think I'm taking up a significant area of the picture. *sigh* Never mind, love yourself! Wahahaha~!
Digressing a little, the weather has been absurdly cold for the time of the year. The lake outside my room has been half frozen (look at the difference in the frozen n unfrozen part of the lake). Last year, the lake only started to freeze in Jan-Feb, where winter's supposed to be at its deepest. And it's mid-November now! Weather's kind of dreary, the picture on bottom is taken at 2pm. (compare and contrast)
Scenic view of the path I take to sch everyday (taken 18/11/2005)
View from my window (taken 19/11/2005)
But it's very nice at night, when dew turns into frost on the grass; they glitter like specks of diamond dust. That is, if you can tahan the cold.
