Singapore Society X'mas Party 2005

Wow, I'm like updating my blog on an almost daily basis now. Not only 'cos I find this picture-uploading fun, but also it had been an event-filled weekend. Had our annual X'mas Party at Xanana's this year and we paid 12 quid per person *ouch* Food wasn't really good, Brown's was better and we had paid only 6 pounds then. But the lucky draw was much better than my first year's. And guess what? I won the top prize - a 3-in-1 printer!!!

Picture of Sam Liew and I - Sam sang "White Christmas" and "Dreaming of You" that night; she sang really well! Very impressive, 'cos usually she's very soft spoken and her voice is very gentle, but her vocals were strong during the performance. (Eh, no, I didn't perform)

*ahem* *ahem* My Christmas present this year. Just nice, I lent mine to Siewlian for her second year and that printer spoilt. No, not blaming her for it, haha~! Never been lucky in draws, but seems like this has been quite a good year for me - winning in mahjong even though I'm a 'rookie', etc etc. (Can't think of other examples actually) Anyway the prize was won with my number '27'. I'm willing to sell it for 40 pounds, anyone interested? =P

Weather's been so bad, visibilty is only 100m the whole day. Looks spooky and dreary, and I'm falling sick. Feeling sore all over with a slight fever. *miserable* Still have to go for class in this weather. Puffed myself up more than I did in UIUC at -28 degrees celsius. *whining*
