Heronbank

View from the window at my room. Seems like we've gotten the best accomodation in the whole Heronbank building - we've got an elevator (only 2 elevators in the whole Heronbank building) n being at the highest floor (2nd floor = SG's 3rd floor 'cos UK's first floor is actually SG's second floor and SG's first is UK's ground level) our windows are bigger than the rest of the rooms on other levels. Also, the launderette is just downstairs, we won't have to drag our laundry in the winter to get it done. NB: the nearest flat seen on the right hand side is only midway of the whole Heronbank Building, so the whole building is quite big. I know I'm back in Warwick when there's apples lined on my window sill, a.k.a. my natural refrigerator. Greatest worry is weird things fly in n share my fruits with me. Hasn't happened yet, hopefully it won't. Lovely view, with the swans and herons swimming in the lake. Lake was frozen 2 years ago during winter; nowadays there's frost at night on the fields, not sure if winter's going to be harsh this year. *cross fingers* Btw, that sky is a rare sight in UK, most of the time weather's bleak.

Picture of my bed and side table taken during first week; with Hunty (YES! I managed to squeeze him into my 32kg luggage and bring him over!) plus Bolster (Yep, my good friend of 21 years old) peeking behind the below. Family picture on the side table, photo frame from IKEA, with 10 pictures inside, to be changed whenever I want to; it's week 7 and I'm still having my family photo though. But the table top is cluttered with loads of stuff now: 2 issues of The Economist, my mobile phone and a Bible. Tsk tsk...
