Guy Fawke's Day

The group struts down to Kenilworth Castle for Guy Fawke's Day fireworks display and carnival. (From left: Desmond, Carol, Cheryl and I - Samantha's the photographer) Bonfire behind to mark the start of the event.

Enjoying toffee apple on the pretext of seeking the ultimate English experience. =P Very good though, fresh green apple with red icing coating - bigger version of the chinese bing1 tang2 hu2 lu2. *slurp* Something we can't really enjoy in Singapore 'cos the coating would just melt immediately (it already melted a little there, and it was less than 10 degrees)

The fireworks began with Kenilworth Castle ruins at the background, accompanied by cheesy music 'cos theme of the night is: Soundtracks from Great Classic Movies. Had themes from West Wing, Indiana Jones and Titanic (My Heart will Go On) So much for "very English" *sigh*

Pictures of fireworks taken by Desmond. Fireworks felt so near it seemed like you could reach out and grab them *sizzle* Lovely lovely...
