The presence of numerous daddy long legs spiders lurking around my windows is giving me stress. 0_o Shoo-ed 7 out of my room this morning, 'cos I had the windows opened at night. Hmm... Reminds me of something I wondered when I was young. Why can't we make a pact with the mosquitoes? We have so much blood, offering them some isn't a problem, but hate it when they make me itchy, especially when they attack the sole. *shudder at the thought* If they don't make me itchy and don't pass dengue fever to me, I don't mind giving them a bit of blood lah.
Just like don't know why people can be so scheming sometimes. If only we can establish a social contract, without mistrust, without wanting more than we are given, I guess life would be better. Haha...
That's not the issue here, it's 3 more days to my first paper - Critical Issues in Management. Hmm... Haven't been super productive, but I'm enjoying what I'm studying. Suddenly feel quite numb to the idea of exams already, just get over and done with. At the beginning of this academic year was like,"Wah, final exams of my life! Must 轰轰烈烈, leave no regrets!" Now I'm just like,"Okie Xiuli, slow and steady ah, just do what you can do, and enjoy the process."
A lot of nice things been happening to me. First was Jingyi's e-cards, her company (on the phone) and her picture of Baby. Haha~! Then came Ruihang's parcel that was totally unexpected. Also having someone to offer his services as Maria of Heronbank Flat 129 =P And I have this exam topic which can't be found on the textbook and requires readings from books that are either on hold or missing from the library; but thankfully I've a HK friend who has them and is going to lend me to photocopy at this 非常 period. Not forgetting Yingzheng and Yanlin, who have been giving me encouragement and spending time talking to me. Hahaha~! Okie, so much for studying eh? Hehz, sometimes it's not a bad thing that most of your friends finished their exams before you even start!
Okie okie, must go back and enjoy studying already. Hopefully the next time I blog it'll be a happy entry too! =)
