And started allowing my insecurity to manifest, using it as a veil to protect myself. It's easier to do it that way, than to overcome it I guess. Hehz... So it's time to do something about it. =)
Meantime, study for exams, wahahaha~! That's becoming a sideline in my life. Not that I'm compromising on my studying quality, I'm not, but feel that there's more to life than that. Having a lot of mixed feelings as graduation is nearing - leaving my sanctuary in Heronbank, I would definitely miss the life here, enjoying Hsien and Cheryl's company, plus my guru Jyh Shyong. Not forgetting the occasional meals with Agnes, and Jireh's amazing cooking.
But on the other hand, I'm excited about what life has for me after graduation. The multi-faceted aspects of life - people, activities, food, etc etc. Haha~! Finally going back to living as a family again. To be able to sit on the dining table to talk about our day, to wake up and know you'll see people when you open your door. Also meeting my Singapore friends at a more regular basis, been so long since I've spoken to Chongchoon, spend time with Jingyi and Yingzheng - everytime we meet up it feels like Xiuli is 友谊客串 than hanging out and spending quality time that will go down our memory lane. Hanging out with my cousins again. The future is like a blank piece of paper waiting for me to paint with colours and fill with words. =)
