Procrastinator at Work (again...)

Got my new camera - Canon Ixus 55 yesterday when Hsienhui came back from Singapore!! Actually, when I first held the camera, a pang of guilt hit me; if only I hadn't lost my old camera... Ah well, shall try to compensate it by taking more pictures!!! (What kind of compensation is that?)

Ah! Finally I can show off this wonderful parcel I've received from Grace!! Got it when Zhensi came over during Thanksgiving actually *ahem* -

1) A book Captivating, by John and Stasi Eldredge, about the daily struggles of Christian females;

2) A Snoopy T-shirt from Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Centre in Santa Rosa, California when she went there over summer;

3) A CD on SSA presentation in Singapore (walk down memory lane);

4) An elastic bracelet from some milk-drinking campaign (Grace had supplied me my year's of elastic bands in US, and I lost a white one when I took off my jacket once...);

5) A 'fur' ball;

6) A purple neck scarf which Grace knitted/crochetted herself;

7) A "Don't Complain" postcard; letter filled with Grace's warm wishes and a neoprint of Grace and Andrew;

8) A HUGE Snoopy cushion cover beneath everything else and

9) An invisible can of Jalapeno-flavoured Pringles *ahem* (I ate it)

Grace wanted to give me cookies from Great Harvest as well, they are really really good, but she couldn't get it on time *appreciated* Wow wow wow, that's ALOT of stuffs for a 21st birthday present! Thank you girl!!! *tears brimming* Thank You for giving me a friend like Grace!!!

Ya, really blessed to have so many friends who are willing to share so much with me; like Jingyi who called at 12am (SG time) to share the fireworks moments in KL with me - though I could only hear the sound of fireworks, haha~! But really, there's only ONE person she could have called at that time and she called ME!!! Ho ho ho ho... And all the well wishes from Chongchoon (yes yes! I really can't wait to graduate!!!), Yingzheng (my jazz bar treat!) and Ruihang (wonderful video clip of fireworks in Sydney!) and more... It would take forever to return the kindness and friendship you guys have given me.

Finally, shall end here with this picture of the lake outside my window taken today - The tranquility of the waters, reflecting the flats like a mirror. Hope everyone will feel peace, even if it's momentary when looking at this. Love all.

My prayer: Thank You for the wonderful parents and brother at home; they had been my pillar of support despite the distance, and in fact, the distance has strengthened our relationship. Thank You for the two 'aunties', cousins and relatives back in Singapore as well, they have been very loving and kind to me; making me feel always welcomed in the sunny island. Thank You for the friends I have - within Singapore; across the globe; and along the corridor. Haha~! Thank You for seeing me through so many ordeals, making me learn from the experiences and allowing me to always pick myself up after that with family and friends' support. I wish You will be able to guide me through, teach me ways of loving them back and bring joy the way they had in mine in Your light.
