I Will Miss You...

I will miss you...
And this isn't an empty promise.

I will remember how we met (even though I claimed I don't remember),
I'll remember how circumstances allowed us to know each other better,
And I'd wish they'd happened earlier;
(even though some part of me think it wouldn't be a bad thing for it to never happen - I wouldn't have to miss you so)

I'll remember how we stayed up and talked about deepest things we never knew we'd share with anyone;
I'll miss you for the craziest things you've said and done,
I'll miss you for the times we've spent together,
And I'll miss you for just being yourself.

Of course, I'll miss you for showing me a part of myself I never knew exist.
I'll miss you making me realized how guarded I've been.
I'll miss you for teaching me how to be as lovable as you.
Most importantly, I'll miss you for who I am when I'm with you.
