Despondent - maybe not?

Suddenly this word came into my mind.
Rumaged through the compilation CDs created over the years and found a birthday CD from Siewlian on my 18th birthday.
18th my dear - let's see, 7 years passed, what has changed?

So much but yet...... Nothing.
Of course I've found the Lord, that's good.
Now... Let's see what else.
More dramas watched, more countries visited, more friends made?
How about growth? Guess there is some, how to handle people, tact and all.
But some things are still stagnant - insecurity, singlehood, direction in life.

Guess if you don't plan and stay aware, another 7 years will pass and will still be pondering on the same area.
That'll be 32 ya?
Of course, some things that don't change are worth celebrating.
Friendships are still intact, family ties still going strong if not stronger.

On a slightly separate note, listening to a CD I have compiled in JC2 for "studying".
Hope I'll remember to bring on the trip.
I can still relate to the feelings 7 years ago I had when I listen to these songs. Thankfully?
No regrets I guess, on the choices I made. Does it sound contradicting?

Looking forward to turning to a new page in my life.
I'm already in that mood... Haha...
