Celebrated Halloween with Beth and her friends from The Navigators - we went 'trick or can' - which is to collect canned food from houses within school area to donate to the poor. It's really quite fun; Beth, Shannon and I dressed as "a bag of jelly beans" each with garbage bag and balloons.
It's amazing to see how generous the americans are, at least those in the district. Got to know towards the end that there were 2 groups of people who came 'trick or canning' earlier in the day, and that some of the houses gave all their canned foods away, that they didn't have anymore left for us. On top of it, they appeared really apologetic about it.
Paired up with Peter, a junior (3rd year) in architecture, and throughout the event, we talked about the architecture of the houses we saw along the way. Quite a nice guy.
Seriously, it was an experience celebrating Halloween, watching the kids dressed as witches and spiderman... Alright, time to study!!! Thank u Beth, for giving me this chance to celebrate!
